I get this question a lot, but that’s not what elopements truly are... An elopement isn’t a smaller or cheaper version of a wedding.. it’s a completely different experience.

Weddings are often centered around structure, timelines, and guests. Elopements are centered around connection, place, and the way the day unfolds naturally without pressure or performance.

It’s not about doing less, it’s about doing it differently. More intention, more freedom, and more space for the experience to actually be lived instead of managed.

You’re not expected to know what to do or feel “photogenic” right away... that’s my job to help with. I’ll guide you in a way that feels simple and natural so nothing feels forced or overly posed.

Within a short time, most couples stop thinking about the camera altogether and just focus on each other. That’s when everything starts to feel real.

Yes, but not in a way that takes over your day. I’ll guide you into natural movement when it helps you feel comfortable, but I’m not constantly directing every moment.

Most of the best images happen in between direction like when you’re just interacting, laughing, or forgetting the camera is even there.

The goal is never to make you look like someone else. It’s to help you feel relaxed enough that the real moments can actually happen.

Engagement sessions can usually be booked relatively quickly, depending on availability.

For weddings and elopements, most couples book around 6–10 months in advance, with peak seasons filling one year in advance. (Peak Season: March, April, June, October,December)

That said, I sometimes have limited availability as early as 2–3 months out, so it’s always worth reaching out even if your date is closer.
